Event canceled for 2021 – we hope to be able to host in 2022!
Our event is cancelled this year, but check out Okotoks Pro Rodeo HERE for a fun weekend happening August 27th-29th at the Millarville Racetrack

At the feet of the Historic Rocky Mountains, Southern Alberta’s premier rodeo challenged some of the best rodeo athletes in North America for the past 23 years. Millarville Heritage Rodeo now has approval amongst the 3 Rodeo associations! We will be open to contestants that are part of any of these associations.

With competitors ranging from southern to central Alberta, the spectators are entertained with two and a half hours of pure rodeo and incredible events that cater to everyone. The community that is created by athletes, locals, and people of afar display that the sanctioned rodeo is much more than a rodeo, but an event that supports education, agricultural heritage, and western contemporary lifestyle. We believe as a committee that education surrounding the agricultural industry is important since this event wouldn’t be possible if the bright minds of our sponsors and surrounding community didn’t support as much as they already do. In honour of the people that made the rodeo possible we believe in bringing a new wave of ideas and also staying true to our roots.

Friday evening will feature our sanctioned Rodeo and family-friendly beer gardens.

Saturday will feature our regular Farmers’ Market, heritage and educational demonstrations and booths, children’s area to learn about the agricultural heritage of our western roots, our sanctioned RODEO, children’s mutton busting, family-friendly beer gardens, and our evening Family Cabaret featuring live entertainment.

Sunday will feature our sanctioned RODEO FINALS together with our children’s calf scramble and family-friendly beer gardens.
