Horse Racing Alberta
Horse racing in Alberta has a proud tradition, and the Millarville Racing and Agricultural Society is at the heart of it. A general MRAS membership is required before purchasing a racing membership, and both can be purchased together.
EVERYONE PARTICIPATING IN HORSE RACING ALBERTA EVENTS MUST HOLD A VALID LICENCE
Exceptions: MRAS user groups, sanctioned equine committee programs, or approved facility rentals.
MRAS offers several membership options to fit your season and household. Whether you attend a handful of race days or the full card, there is a tier that works for you.
Annual , covers November through end of October the following year.
Seasonal , choose Winter (November through April 30) or Summer (May through end of October).
Family , two adults and up to two children under 18, all at the same address. Individual , one person per membership. Those interested in supporting the experience behind the scenes can also explore an administration racetrack support staff position through our careers page.

Membership rates cannot be prorated. The annual christmas market typically marks the start of the new membership season each November.
Racing Facilities Include:
- Half-mile racetrack with a dedicated infield crossing for parking access near outdoor facilities
- Outdoor sand ring measuring 325 feet by 145 feet, available seasonally
- Rodeo arena at 100 feet by 70 feet for multi-use equine events
- Heated indoor arena with a 165 by 95 foot riding surface, accessible via FOB from the MRAS office
